Fr though, anyone else constantly in this cycle? My bank account looks like it's playing hopscotch, not actually growing. I try to put money aside, but then suddenly it's for 'essential life maintenance' and not like, a down payment on a house (lol, a house? what's that?). OMG YES. I feel seen. Every time I hit my savings goal, something immediately comes up that eats into it. It's like the universe knows I have a little extra and says 'nah, fam.' We're just trying to keep our heads above water out here. 😭

Deadass, saving IS surviving for most of us. Like, my 'savings account' is just a high-interest checking account with extra steps. We're not building generational wealth, we're building a buffer for when our car inevitably breaks down again. #CapitalismSucks
