why do shoes ruin every outfit decision

Okay, but seriously, why do shoes have this superpower to literally obliterate a perfectly good outfit? I'll have a fire fit picked out, feeling myself, then I go to the shoe closet and EVERYTHING looks wrong. Sneakers feel too casual, heels are too extra, flats are boring... It's a never-ending cycle of despair. Is it just me or is finding the right pair harder than finding a clear iPhone charger? Ugh. OMG YES. This is literally my daily struggle. I'll have a whole look planned out in my head, then I try on shoes and it's like, welp, back to the drawing board. It's the worst feeling. 😭
