y2k style hit different but so does depression π
Okay no cap, I'm fully obsessed with the Y2K aesthetic hitting different right now. Low-rise jeans, tiny bags, butterfly clips... the whole vibe just *slaps*. But then I remember we're living through... *gestures vaguely at the world* and it's like, lowkey, how did they look so effortlessly iconic while probably also dealing with existential dread? Or maybe it was just different dread? Anyone else feel like we're just trying to manifest main character energy while internally screaming? π #Y2KRevival #MentalHealthMatters #GenZProblems #AestheticVsReality
